Overview
Rare Diseases are medical conditions that affect a small percentage of the population. They are usually genetic, chronic, and often have no cure. As rare Diseases become increasingly better understood, research and treatment has improved, leading to better outcomes for patients. Early diagnosis and intervention are key to successful management and treatment of rare Diseases. By increasing awareness, research and diagnosis of rare Diseases, more individuals can be treated and lead better lives.
