Pyoderma
Pyoderma is an infection of the skin caused by bacteria. It is characterized by the presence of pus-filled lesions, such as pimples, boils, and abscesses. Pyoderma can affect any part of the body, but is most common on the face, hands, and lower limbs. Symptoms typically include redness, itching, pain, and swelling. Treatment for pyoderma may involve antibiotics and/or topical creams or ointments. It is important to seek medical attention if symptoms persist, as pyoderma can cause skin damage and may lead to scarring. Proper hygiene is key to preventing and treating pyoderma in order to reduce the risk of secondary infections.
