Melanoma Cells
Melanoma cells are the cells of a type of skin cancer called melanoma, which can have serious and life-threatening health consequences. These cells exhibit uncontrolled and irregular growth, leading to the formation of malignant tumors. The good news is, due to advances in cancer research, melanoma cells can be detected early and treated with greater effectiveness. Early detection increases the chance of successful treatment, making it important for people to be aware of the signs and symptoms associated with melanoma, such as changes in skin color, growths or sores, or just general changes in the appearance of moles. With greater awareness and early detection of melanoma, patients may have improved outcomes.
