Melanoma

Melanoma is a type of skin cancer caused by the growth of mutations in the skin cells, leading to uncontrolled cell division. Melanoma is the most dangerous form of skin cancer, as it can spread quickly and can be fatal if not detected and treated early. Early detection is key for successful treatment, and identifying any suspicious moles or changes in skin colour is important. Treatment options include surgery or medications, depending on the stage of the melanoma. It is important to practice sun safety and regularly check for any signs of skin cancer.
