Allergy Testing

Allergy testing is a procedure used to identify possible triggers of a person’s allergic reactions. It is an important diagnostic tool that is used to help diagnose, manage, and treat allergies. Allergy tests involve exposing a person to a potential allergen, such as pollen or dust mites, and then observing their body’s response to the potential allergen. Depending on the type of testing method used, this could include skin prick testing, intradermal testing, patch testing or blood tests. By finding the source of a person’s allergies, it can help them to better manage and treat their symptoms. Allergy testing can also help to identify hidden allergies, which can be a major cause of chronic illnesses.
