Endodontic Implants

Endodontic implants, also known as dental implants, are artificial teeth replacements that are used to replace missing or damaged teeth. These dental devices are placed into the jawbone by a qualified oral surgeon, and they provide a natural-looking, strong and long-lasting solution for patients with missing or broken teeth. Endodontic implants comprise of two components: the implant itself and the artificial tooth. The implant is made using titanium, a biocompatible material that helps to fuse with the jawbone over several months. Once the implant is fully integrated into the jaw, the oral surgeon will attach the artificial tooth on top of the implant, which will sit above the gum line and function like a natural tooth. In comparison to traditional fixed or removable dentures, endodontic implants are more stable and have many advantages in terms of aesthetics, comfort and functionality. They are easy to clean, do not require adhesive creams or special cleaning solutions, and have a success rate of up to 98%. Moreover, they improve your overall oral health by preserving the integrity and strength of the jawbone, and can last a lifetime with proper care. Overall, dental implants are a fantastic option for anyone who is missing teeth, and they have the added benefits of looking and feeling like natural teeth. If you are considering an endodontic implant, speak to your dentist or oral surgeon for more information on whether you’re a good candidate, and what the process involves.
