Suicide Bereavement
Suicide bereavement is the process of mourning a loved one who has died by suicide. It is a difficult process, as the death of a loved one is always difficult to cope with, no matter the cause. Additionally, many questions remain unanswered, and the feelings of guilt, shame, anger, confusion and guilt are often overwhelming. It is important to remember that it is normal to feel all of these emotions and it is ok to talk about them with friends, family, and/or professionals. Utilising the appropriate support networks can help in processing the emotions and creating coping strategies to move forward.
