Oncolytic Viruses

Oncolytic viruses are viruses that selectively replicate in and kill cancer cells. By attacking cancer cells directly, they can be used as a targeted anti-cancer therapy that is less likely to cause side effects than traditional chemotherapy or radiation. Oncolytic viruses have shown promising results in clinical trials and could potentially revolutionize the way we treat cancer in the future.
