Overview
Colorectal cancer is a form of cancer that affects the colon and rectum, and can have a significant impact on a patient's quality of life. Patients often experience physical, emotional, and economic changes, which can lead to decreased quality of life. However, there are various interventions available to improve the quality of life of colorectal cancer patients, including lifestyle changes, supportive therapies, and medications. Additionally, advances in medical technology have improved the overall prognosis for colorectal cancer, enabling patients to live longer and with fewer symptoms. By improving the quality of life of colorectal cancer patients, medical professionals are helping to ensure that their quality of life is preserved until their cancer has been successfully treated.
