Plant Pathogens
Plant pathogens are microorganisms, such as fungi, bacteria, and viruses, which cause disease in plants. These pathogens can cause yield loss, reduce quality, and even lead to the death of plants. Plant pathogens play an important role in food production, as they can reduce crop yields and cause economic losses to farmers. Fortunately, advances in modern science and technology have enabled us to manage, control, and even prevent plant diseases through the use of chemical treatments and biological control. These treatments reduce the impact of plant pathogens by improving the health of crop plants and ultimately reducing the losses caused by these pathogens.
