Overview

Colorectal cancer survivors are individuals who have been treated for colorectal cancer and now have a good chance of living a full and healthy life. This type of cancer is often treatable and survivorship rates have been steadily increasing as treatment advances. Survivorship for colorectal cancer includes access to services that are tailored to help survivors adjust to life after cancer, manage their long-term effects, and promote healthy living. These services may include health screenings, physical and psychological assessments, dietary and exercise advice, assistance in finding and overcoming challenges related to their cancer experience, and support for reintegration into their daily lives.
