Biopsy

A biopsy is a medical procedure where a sample of tissue is taken from a patient’s body and examined in a laboratory in order to gain information about the patient’s health. It is a useful diagnostic tool used by doctors to determine the presence of diseases, such as cancer, and to rule out other conditions. A biopsy is a critical step in the process of diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions, as a doctor can better understand the patient’s condition and make the appropriate treatment recommendations based on the results of a biopsy. Therefore, a biopsy can be a life-saving tool as it can enable early detection and treatment of various diseases.
