Mental Disorder
Mental disorder is an umbrella term used to refer to a range of mental health conditions that affect a person's thoughts, emotions, and behavior. These conditions can be severe and cause significant distress, disruption of daily activities, and impairments in social, occupational, and other important areas of functioning. Examples of mental disorders include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Treatment for mental disorders is typically a combination of psychotherapy, medications, and lifestyle changes, and can often help a person manage their condition and improve their quality of life.
