Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy which uses guided relaxation, intense concentration and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness and modify behaviour patterns or treat certain ailments. It is increasingly being used to help people with problems such as anxiety, pain management, stress-related illnesses and other psychological issues. In particular, it has been used to provide relief for insomnia, depression, phobias, addiction, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Hypnotherapy can also provide a form of emotional support and help to access forgotten memories or even open up the possibility of exploring new coping strategies. It is a safe and non-invasive method of treatment that can bring about lasting positive changes in the way people think and feel.
