Epidemiological Studies & Psychology
Epidemiological studies and psychology are key components of research in public health, allowing for the investigation of health risks or benefits associated with different behaviors, environments and interventions. Epidemiological studies offer a way to assess the risk of disease, help identify behavioral and environmental factors that can influence disease risk, and examine the effectiveness of interventions in populations. Psychology research focuses on understanding how mental health and behavior are shaped by social, cultural and biological factors, as well as developing evidence-based interventions for improving mental health and well-being. By combining the two areas, researchers can analyze the health impacts of social, psychological and behavioral factors in populations, providing important insight into how to reduce health risks in the community.
