Aids Associated Disorders
AIDS-associated disorders refer to medical conditions that can be caused by, or worsened by, the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This virus can cause a weakened immune system, making people more susceptible to other infections and diseases, such as cancer, tuberculosis and various opportunistic infections. These disorders can range from minor, such as skin rashes, to more serious, such as meningitis. The goal of treatment is to reduce symptom severity and improve the quality of life of individuals living with HIV. Treatment plans may involve antiretroviral medications, as well as lifestyle modifications to promote health and well-being. Understanding the symptoms and risks of AIDS-associated disorders can help individuals seek appropriate treatment and care.
