Clinical Pathology
Clinical Pathology is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis of diseases based on laboratory analysis of bodily fluids such as blood, urine, and tissue specimens. Through the laboratory analysis of material derived from the body, it is possible to detect the presence of disease or abnormality that assists in the management or prevention of disease. Clinical Pathology can be used to identify the cause of a wide range of conditions such as infections, genetic disorders, malignancies, and other chronic illnesses. Additionally, it can also be used to provide information about the development of a disease, the body’s response to treatment, and to monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans. Clinical Pathology is an important diagnostic tool in modern medicine and provides invaluable information to medical professionals and their patients.
