Cervical Biopsy

This procedure is typically used to diagnose or rule out pre-cancerous conditions, such as cervical dysplasia, which can lead to cervical cancer if left untreated. The biopsy results can be used to guide further testing and/or treatment decisions. Cervical biopsy is an important procedure to diagnose or monitor certain conditions of the cervix, and is recommended for women who have had abnormal results from a Pap smears.
