Static Biomarkers

Static biomarkers refer to laboratory-based tests used to measure a patient's state of health, as well as to detect and monitor the progression of diseases. These biomarkers include a wide range of tests, such as measuring hormone levels, tumor markers, and measuring cholesterol levels in the blood. By providing insight into the cause and effects of conditions, static biomarkers can help physicians make more accurate diagnoses and better understand the development of chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Static biomarkers can also be used to check for the presence of genetic disorders, as well as to monitor patients with existing conditions. Additionally, static biomarkers can be used to assess treatment efficacy or toxicity in order to determine the most appropriate course of action for a patient. The utilization of biomarkers in healthcare has become increasingly important and is a fundamental tool for improving the accuracy of diagnoses and for delivering optimally tailored treatments.
