Blastomas

Blastomas are a class of cancerous tumors which form from immature, early-stage cells and can be found in a variety of organs and tissues. Blastomas are aggressive tumors which grow quickly and can spread throughout the body. They can be difficult to treat and may have a high mortality rate. Treatment for blastomas usually depends on the stage and type of the tumor, and may involve surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation. Early detection is key to improving the prognosis for individuals with blastomas, and research into more effective treatments for this type of cancer is ongoing.
