Overview

The purpose of alternative treatments for breast cancer is to provide an additional treatment option to conventional treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation. These treatments focus on a holistic, multi-faceted approach to managing the disease, and can include a range of therapies, such as clinical nutrition and lifestyle modifications, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, yoga, and acupuncture. All of these therapies and treatments may act to improve the overall quality of life of breast cancer patients and can help to reduce the side effects of conventional treatments. Additionally, alternative treatments may be used as an adjunct to conventional treatments, as they provide a more natural and gentle approach to managing and treating breast cancer.
