Overview
Spinal cord tumors are abnormal growths of cells within the spinal cord. These tumors can cause a variety of symptoms including pain, tingling, and motor or sensory changes. Treatment of these tumors can involve surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, depending on the type and cause of the tumor. These tumors can be life-threatening if left untreated, so it is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible if any symptoms are present. Accurate diagnosis and timely treatment is the key to successful management of spinal cord tumors.
