Brain Cancer Causes
Brain cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the cells of the brain. It is one of the most serious and life-threatening types of cancer, since tumors growing in the brain can impair cognitive and motor functions, leading to severe disability and death. As with all cancers, early diagnosis is key to successful treatment. Treatment options for brain cancer include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and targeted therapies. With the help of these treatments, brain cancer can be managed and even cured if caught early enough. However, brain cancer is often difficult to diagnose in the early stages, and even with the most advanced treatments, survival rates are often low. Despite advancements in research and treatments, brain cancer remains one of the most difficult-to-treat and deadly forms of cancer.
