Brain Cancer
Brain cancer is a type of primary cancer that begins in the brain and is usually caused by the mutated growth of cells found in the brain. Brain cancer is a serious and life-threatening condition as it can rapidly spread throughout the central nervous system. Symptoms of brain cancer will vary depending on the type and location of the cancer, but can include seizures, headaches, balance and vision problems, changes in behavior and thought processes, and difficulty with movement. Treatment for brain cancer may involve surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Early detection and diagnosis is key to improving the prognosis of the cancer, and if detected at an early stage, a full recovery is possible.
