Intravascular Fluid (blood Plasma)
Intravascular fluid, otherwise known as blood plasma, is the liquid component of the blood that carries essential nutrients, immune cells and hormones to the body's cells. It is instrumental in maintaining healthy bodily functions, including maintaining the balance of water and electrolytes in the bloodstream, and helping to transport waste away from cells. In addition, intravascular fluid helps to regulate the body's temperature, assists clotting in the case of wounds, and provides an environment for transporting minerals, nutrients, oxygen and carbon dioxide. This fluid is incredibly important in the maintenance of overall health and is essential for normal functioning of the body.
