Pharmacology

Pharmacology is the study of drugs and their interaction with living organisms. It is a key component of modern medicine and helps practitioners select, administer, and monitor the correct drugs to treat specific illnesses. Pharmacology is also an important tool for understanding the mechanisms of drug action and for designing drugs that are safe and effective for the treatment and prevention of disease. Through pharmacology, we can understand the behavior of drugs in a variety of settings, identify and predict possible side effects, and determine the best ways to use a drug and achieve the desired outcome.
