Overview
Non-clinical medicine is a type of medical practice that focuses on delivering patient care and disease management outside of a clinical setting. In non-clinical medicine, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals provide primary care and preventive health services, as well as treatment for specific diseases and conditions. Non-clinical medicine is important for increasing access to healthcare services for underserved populations, who may not be able to access care in a traditional clinical setting. In addition, non-clinical medicine helps to reduce healthcare costs, improve patient outcomes and increase satisfaction with healthcare services. Non-clinical medicine is also beneficial for providing timely and accessible care for chronic diseases, mental health and substance use disorders.
