Chip on Chip
Chip-on-chip is a type of microarray technology used in biological laboratories. It is a method used to analyse multiple components of a sample simultaneously. It involves placing many individual chips on top of each other, usually on a glass substrate, and then adding the sample to be tested. The sample can range from single cells to tissue samples. A device then reads the chips and calculates the composition of the sample. Chips on chip technology is useful for a wide range of applications, such as gene expression, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis, and protein expression. It enables researchers to efficiently and accurately analyse samples, which can lead to new discoveries and treatments.
