Biogas
Biogas is a type of renewable energy source produced from the decomposition of organic matter. It is a clean-burning fuel that can be used as an alternative to fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas. Biogas is produced by anaerobic bacteria, which break down organic matter in a process called anaerobic digestion. The resulting gas is composed of methane, carbon dioxide, and other trace gases, and is used in a variety of applications. It can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook food, and generate electricity. It is also a more sustainable option than burning fossil fuels since it is a renewable resource and emits fewer greenhouse gases.
