Overview

Biochemistry Theory and Simulation is an interdisciplinary field that combines the study of biochemical processes with the use of computer modeling and simulation to better understand biological systems. This valuable tool helps researchers gain insights into protein structure and function, metabolic networks in cells, and the effects of environmental factors on these responses. The use of simulations helps identify and understand the mechanism of drug action as well as predict potential effects of newly developed compounds and drugs. In addition, biochemistry theory and simulation can be used to analyze the effects of mutations on property functions, and to optimize the design of existing compounds and drugs.
