Stochasticity
Stochasticity is a term used in mathematics and statistics to refer to randomness and uncertainty, often in the context of mathematical models of systems. It is an important concept in various areas such as risk analysis, economics, engineering, finance and operations research. Stochasticity is used to model and describe the behaviour of complex systems where the outcomes are unpredictable, often due to the presence of multiple sources of randomness or uncertainty. This understanding of stochasticity can help improve decision making in uncertain environments, and can be used for forecasting and predicting the outcomes in various situations.

Journal of Biosemiotic Research is an integrative discipline that studies communication and signification in living systems. It is devoted to establishing a bridge between biology, philosophy, linguistics and communication studies. Its primary challenge is to provide a broad scientific insight not merely of biological information but also of biolog
