Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative medicine is a field of medical science which aims to restore or replace cells, tissues and organs using technology, such as stem cells, and other biological materials. It has the potential to bring about significant advances in healthcare, both in terms of improving quality of life and in terms of improved treatment and patient outcomes. Regenerative medicine has a wide range of applications in the treatment of diseases and conditions such as heart diseases, stroke and spinal cord injuries, and also has potential use in cosmetic applications. It holds promise for replacing and restoring damaged tissues and organs, and has the potential to improve the quality of life for those suffering from conditions that currently have no cure.
