Protein Dynamics
Protein dynamics are the rapid, often subtle, changes in protein structure due to environmental influences, such as temperature and pH. These dynamic changes in protein structure can profoundly affect protein function. Understanding the dynamics of proteins is essential for the design of new pharmaceuticals and for understanding the causes of disease. Protein dynamics are also important for understanding the role proteins play in living systems, such as the regulation of cellular processes and communication between cells.
