Plasma Glucose
Plasma glucose is a measure of the amount of glucose in the blood or plasma. It is used to diagnose and monitor diabetes, as well as assess a person’s risk for developing cardiovascular disease and other metabolic abnormalities. Measurement of plasma glucose is a critical tool for assessing a person’s metabolic health, as high levels of glucose in the blood indicate an abnormal metabolism and can lead to diabetes and other long-term health issues.
