Otolaryngology

Otolaryngology is a field of medicine dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the ear, nose and throat (ENT). It is a highly specialized field of medicine, and otolaryngologists are well-trained in a variety of ENT treatments, including sinus surgeries, hearing tests, and treatment for allergies, sleep problems and facial plastic surgery. Otolaryngology is an important specialty of medicine, as it deals with both medical and surgical management of conditions affecting the ears, nose and throat. By providing treatments that improve ear, nose and throat health, otolaryngology helps improve quality of life and overall comfort.
