Chemical Informatics
Chemical informatics is the branch of science that focuses on the collection, organization, analysis and interpretation of chemical data using computer and information technology techniques. It is used in many fields, such as drug discovery, chemical engineering, biochemistry, and materials science. Chemical informatics helps in the discovery of new chemical compounds and their properties, as well as it can be used in the analysis of reaction pathways and the optimization of chemical processes. Additionally, it enables scientists to develop new materials with enhanced properties, improve the manufacturing of existing materials and drugs, and design better and cost-effective industrial processes.
