Overview

Social Neuroscience is a field of science that investigates how the human brain processes social information, such as responses to social stimuli, emotions, and interactions. It combines elements from cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and social psychology to understand how different parts of the brain facilitate social behaviors and psychological phenomena. Social Neuroscience plays a critical role in helping us to better understand how our complex social relationships are constructed, maintained, and regulated, and how they may impact our health and well-being. It also provides insight into how our behavior is shaped by our social environment, enabling us to make better decisions, create healthier relationships, and find better ways of engaging with others.
