Insomnia
Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or both. It is a common issue that affects millions of people worldwide, impacting quality of life and health. People with insomnia may experience fatigue, problems with concentration or memory, mood disturbances, and increased risk of medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and depression. Treatment for insomnia includes lifestyle changes such as reducing stress, setting and following a regular sleep schedule, and avoiding stimulants such as caffeine and nicotine. In addition, medications and therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy can also be used to improve sleep.
