Cognitive Science

Cognitive Science is the interdisciplinary scientific study of the human mind. It draws on fields such as psychology, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, linguistics, anthropology, medicine, philosophy, and education and is concerned with the nature, origin, and workings of the human mind. Cognitive Science seeks to understand how the brain processes information and uses it to create knowledge, solve problems, and make decisions. It is important for understanding and improving cognitive abilities such as learning, memory, decision making, and problem solving. It is used in a multitude of ways, from designing better user interfaces and medical treatments to improving education and advancing scientific understanding of the human mind.
