Antioxidants
Antioxidants are substances that can protect our cells from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are molecules that can damage our cells and lead to diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and arthritis. Antioxidants can help protect us from these diseases by scavenging and neutralizing free radicals. They can also help boost our immunity and reduce inflammation. The most commonly found antioxidants are vitamins C, E, and A, as well as carotenoids and polyphenols, which are found in a variety of fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants are essential for optimal health as they help protect our bodies from the damage caused by free radicals, as well as boosting our overall immunity and reducing inflammation.
