Nanoparticle Deposition

Nanoparticle deposition is the act of placing extremely small particles, on the nanoscale, onto a surface. This process has many important applications in a variety of industrial and medical fields. In medical applications, nanoparticle deposition is used to facilitate drug delivery, allowing medication to be delivered directly to specific locations in the body. It can also be used to create more biocompatible devices and coatings that can interact with human cells and minimize the risk of infections. In industrial applications, nanoparticles are used to alter the properties of surfaces and materials, such as creating self-cleaning surfaces or improving scratch and corrosion resistance on metallic surfaces. Nanoparticle deposition is a versatile tool that has significant implications in both the medical and industrial fields.
