Green Nanotechnology

Green nanotechnology is the application of nanotechnology to create more eco-friendly, sustainable processes. It is the study of how matter behaves at the very small scales of nanometers, and how this behavior can be utilized to create products with improved environmental performance. Green nanotechnology is a field of research that focuses on developing technologies that reduce the human impact on the environment by reducing energy consumption, waste, and pollutants. Examples of green nanotechnologies include water treatment, fuel production, and storage, carbon capture and storage, self-cleaning surfaces, air-purification, and solar cells. By utilizing green nanotechnology, industries can reduce their environmental impact without sacrificing product quality.
