Cyclophosphamide
Cyclophosphamide is an antineoplastic (cancer-fighting) drug used in chemotherapy to treat a range of diseases, including certain types of cancers and autoimmune conditions. The drug works by blocking the growth and spread of cancer cells, and by suppressing the immune system. Cyclophosphamide has been used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs to treat many types of cancers, including bladder, breast, ovary, and lymphoma. It can also be used in combination with immunosuppressants to help treat autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Cyclophosphamide is also commonly used in clinical trials to test new drugs and treatments. Due to its effectiveness in fighting cancer and autoimmune disease, cyclophosphamide is an important drug for improving the health of individuals affected by these conditions.
