Dose Prediction Methods
Dose prediction methods are computational techniques used to estimate the amount of radiation dose a patient receives in order to make sure that medical imaging procedures are safe. Dose prediction methods are also used to help decide which imaging technique should be used for a given clinical application. By accurately predicting the radiation dose, the risk of radiation-induced damage to the patient can be minimized. Additionally, dose prediction techniques can be used to help ensure that images produced by medical imaging machines are clear and of the highest quality. The use of dose prediction methods is becoming increasingly important, especially with the rise in the number of medical imaging procedures being performed.
