Clinical Trials
Clinical trials are research studies in which volunteers are assigned to test new drugs, medical treatments, or medical devices. They are conducted to determine the safety and efficacy of these new treatments, and to understand the benefits and risks of using them. Clinical trials play an important role in the development of new treatments for diseases and illnesses, and help to improve patient care. Clinical trials are often the last step before a new treatment is approved by governing bodies and made available to the public.
