Rheumatoid

arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation and pain in the joints and surrounding tissues. This inflammation can cause joint damage, leading to joint deformity, disability, and decreased quality of life. RA can also affect other organs, such as the heart, lungs, and eyes. Treatment options for RA include disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, glucocorticoids, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Physical and occupational therapy can also be beneficial in managing symptoms of RA. Early diagnosis and aggressive treatment can help slow the progression of RA and improve patient outcomes.
