Mosses
Mosses are small, low-growing plants with a unique reproductive cycle. They are commonly found in moist, shady areas and are often used as ground cover in gardens. Mosses are a key component in ecosystems, providing habitat for small animals, food for grazing herbivores, and water filtration. They also play a key role in global climate regulation by sequestering carbon and nitrogen, and can help to protect soil from erosion. Additionally, mosses have many uses in industry, from aiding in water-treatment to providing natural dyes for textiles.
