Fingerprints are unique patterns found on the tips of human fingers, which have been used to identify and verify individuals for more than a century. Fingerprints provide a reliable and fast means of personal identification and are widely used in criminal investigations and security screening. Fingerprint analysis using computer technology enables accurate comparisons and identification of individuals from a large database of prints. This technology has become a highly reliable and efficient tool for law enforcement and crime prevention. Fingerprint identification is an essential part of the criminal justice system as it helps to protect citizens by identifying criminals and preventing further criminal activity.
