Digital Forensics

Digital forensics is the science of analyzing and extracting evidence stored within digital devices. It plays an important role in helping law enforcement as well as corporations and other entities in investigating and exploring suspicious activities related to computing devices. Digital forensics tools and practices help extract data from digital devices such as computers, phones, and databases in a manner that it can be presented in a court of law. Digital forensics can also assist in securing computer networks and safeguarding financial information. It is commonly used for technical investigations of cyber crimes, recovery of digital evidence, and defense of computer networks and systems.
