Contact Traces

Contact tracing is a method used in epidemiology to identify, contact and offer support and guidance to people who may have come into contact with an infected person during their period of infectiousness. This process helps reduce the risk of further transmission of the pathogen by providing the contact information to public health authorities in order to help instruct people on what to do next. Contact tracing can be done manually or through websites, apps, or other methods that allow for automated contact tracing. It is a cost-effective and powerful tool for controlling epidemics and preventing further spread of the disease. It is widely used by health authorities to help identify and contain outbreaks quickly.
